Out-of-the-rut comedy-drama making its debut on video, starring Emilio Estevez as a strait-laced LA lawyer whose wife announces she's leaving him. Devastated, he dredges up an old pal (Steven Weber), who leads him off for a wild night on the town. It's a formula story, with a soft, cop-out ending, but the treatment is quirky and wonderfully surreal, with well-drawn incidental characters and some amusing dialogue. A little gem.
