A child with strange powers believes his father is an alien (and he might be right! ). His mother disppears mysteriously, as do many other townsfolk. Strange occurrences, some humour, some things that make you jump and stars Randy Quaid and Nastassja Kinski (playing a school therapist) should make this TV horror (not an update on the Fifties movie) reasonable fun, but suspense is sporadic and the ending tacky.
