The Immortals

Offbeat crime thriller starring Eric Roberts, Tia Carrere and Chris Rock. A nightclub owner assembles eight mismatched crooks for a series of robberies, but they are unaware that he is working to a hidden agenda.

A nice idea is all but wasted here as a group of strangers are offered an unusual opportunity by a wealthy gangster (Eric Roberts). Joe Pantoliano, Chris Rock, Tia Carrere and others opt to take part in a dangerous heist - but why have they volunteered and is nothing going as planned? Why indeed, as this thriller goes from intriguing to OTT - especially when Tony Curtis appears as a hardman.
