Disney delivers the goods again in this thoroughly enjoyable family animation from Victor Hugo's classic novel, about the downtrodden hunchback bellringer, Quasimodo, who here befriends the ravishing gypsy girl Esmeralda and a handsome security chief in 15th-century Paris. As both a love triangle and an uprising against Quasimodo's evil master develop, this becomes an increasingly charming, involving and surprisingly passionate tale, with vivid, quality animation and great voice work by Tom Hulce (as Quasimodo), Kevin Kline, Demi Moore and Tony Jay.
