Ian Somerhalder

A chance glance at the Guess model during a crowd scene for the movie Black and White landed Somerhalder with an agent.

He graduated from the local theatre group to New York, where he was spotted, and landed a role in the Young Americans TV series.

Work on Anatomy of a Hate Crime followed and he then received a best newcomer award for his debut feature Life As A House with Kevin Kline.

Recent film work includes Changing Hearts with Faye Dunaway and Roger Avary's adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel Rules of Attraction.
