Alexis Bledel

The former model got her first feature film role in the romantic fantasy drama Tuck Everlasting in 2002.
Director Jay Russell was so taken with Bledel that she was both the first and the last person he auditioned for the role.
The daughter of Argentinian and Mexican parents, she graduated from Saint Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas, before working fulltime across the globe as a model.
On her return, she attended New York University's Tisch School as a film major and landed a role in the pilot of American TV's The Gilmore Girls.
After Tuck Everlasting, with William Hurt and Sissy Spacek, her next big screen outing was the Bollywood romance Bride and Prejudice in 2004.
The following year she appeared in Robert Rodriguez' film noir extravaganza Sin City and the romantic drama The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.
