The actor was first introduced to audiences as uber-geek Napoleon Dynamite in the critically praised indy movie of the same name.
He has subsequently made the leap to major movies with appearances in School for Scoundrels with Billy Bob Thornton and Blades of Glory with Will Ferrell.
He made his big screen debut in Jared Hess' comedy short Peluca before being cast in Napoleon Dynamite in 2004.
The following year he had a small role in the rom-com Just Like Heaven and also co-starred in the sports comedy The Benchwarmers with Rob Schneider.
In 2006, the provided the voice of Reginald "Skull" Skulinski in the excellent cartoon outing Monster House and took the lead in the American remake of School for Scoundrels.
Recent work includes the Will Ferrell skating comedy Blades of Glory.
