Event Horizon
The crew of a recovery vessel encounter an evil presence on board a deserted spacecraft - The Event Horizon. Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill star in this superior sci-fi chiller occupying the same extra-terrestrial territory as Alien. It looks great - the ship's design was apparently based on Notre Dame cathedral - and provides a real chill. Joely Richardson and an excellent Kathleen Quinlan also star.
Great cast in this different sci-fi movie,which shows the crew aboard a search and rescue spaceship under attack not from some alien with the hump, but something a lot lot worse. When I originally saw this movie I had no idea what to expect choosing to ignore reviews as these often give away the story, and I was pleasantly suprised. Generally creepy all the way throughout and a must see for sci-fi and horror fans alike. Spaceships will never seem the same again...
