There's a lot of pleasure to be found in this warm-hearted, if highly improbable, fantasy in which Cybill Shepherd's dead husband returns to Earth as a baby and grows up to be Robert Downey Jr. Romantic complications ensue because Shepherd's daughter (Mary Stuart Masterson) fancies Downey while Ryan O'Neal carries a torch for Shepherd. The actors are all good but Downey is outstanding and the story is so sweet-natured only curmudgeons could resist it.
