Movies With A Twist
With M. Night Shyamalan's latest feature hitting the big screens, we take a look at the movies with twists in them so big they could be glazed in sugar and sold as pretzels...When M. Night Shyamalan made the Sixth Sense, it felt like no one had ever seen a movie with a twist before.
It's as though we all forgot moviemakers were shocking us with random twists long before this particular director made his name in the business.
And while Shyamalan may or may not have turned his back on the idea of twisting up his future movies (we have no idea if The Happening has a twist yet!), we've come up with a selection of movies famed for their mind-bending turns.
Some are classics, some are...well, not very classic at all - but all contain twists that were meant to bamboozle and stun you, even if some were as succesful as a screen door on a battleship.
It's true, there may be some answers lurking in the gallery that you don't want to know, so consider yourself warned!
