Don't Try This At Home
Ten guys, a dwarf and some insane stunts... it can only mean one thingJohnny Knoxville and his insane crew got together with a fistful of celebrities to party in the name of their latest project Jackass: The Movie.
Knoxville, who hosts the MTV show Jackass, was joined by star guests Jack Black, Ozzy Osbourne's son, Jack, and musician Fred Durst to promote the film's premiere in California.
Johnny, together with pals and fellow jackasses, takes the concept of the show - a bunch of guys doing dangerous and disturbing stunts just for the sake of it - to the big screen...
the only difference being it's not edited for television. The film is deemed so extreme that it comes with a warning: "This movie features stunts performed either by professionals or under the supervision of professionals.
"Accordingly, the producers must insist that no one attempt to recreate or re-enact any stunt or activity performed in this movie."
The jackasses certainly can't be accused of lacking in commitment to their craft. If it's any indication, Knoxville suffered a concussion in April during the last few weeks of filming.
Pushing the boundaries of stupidity on-screen with Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine are cast members Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, Dave England, Ryan Dunn, Jason 'Wee-Man' Acuna, Preston Lacy, Brandon DiCamillo, Ehren McGehey, and Chris Raab (Raab Himself).
As for those responsible for the carnage, Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich, Three Kings), and Jeff Tremaine are the producers.
In a recent remark to Rolling Stone magazine, Knoxville said: "Everybody is stepping up and giving their absolute worst, and that's all we've ever asked for."
Jackass: The Movie is released in the UK on 24 January.
