Connery's Cameo Blooper

The original 007, Sean Connery, has filmed a cameo for Die Another Day as the suave secret agent's father, it has been revealed.

But producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson have only realised in the month the film is due to be released that Bond was an orphan in the Ian Fleming books.

A decision has not yet been made about whether to include the 20-second scene.

Connery has in the past played macho-man Indiana Jones' dad.
