Moneypenny Gets A Kiss
Samantha Bond goes pink as she gets to kiss James Bond at lastAfter years of sexual tension, Samantha Bond has revealed that Bond will finally share a passionate moment with Miss Moneypenny in the new 007 film.
Samantha said she blushed when she saw their embrace - the result of a last-minute script change - in Die Another Day.
She's not the only one to get a kiss from Bond.
Halle was grinning as the pair promoted their film. And Brosnan's celebrating, too, after signing for a fifth turn as Bond.After 19 films together, it is the first kiss for Bond and the most disapproving Moneypenny, originally played by Lois Maxwell.
Samantha told ITV1's This Morning she had "gone pink" when she shot the scene with Pierce Brosnan.
"It was a very late rewrite and Pierce's first day of shooting.
"He walked into his dressing room and said to his dresser ,'What are we doing today?' and the dresser said, 'It's the scene where you kiss Miss Moneypenny'.
"Pierce said, 'What?' We met on set and he said, 'Come on, Bond, we can do this, can't we?'
"We both got giggles and the director shouted at us."
Bond has always kept fans in suspense about his feelings.
He once said there "never has been and never will be anybody but" the admiring secretary.
