World War Two thriller starring James Garner and Eva Marie Saint. A US intelligence officer is kidnapped and brainwashed by the Germans.

Unusual war thriller about an American officer who is made to believe that the war is over so that he will talk of the Normandy invasion plans to his Nazi captors. James Garner and Eva Marie Saint turn in solid performances under George Seaton's workmanlike direction. But the really great performance in the film comes from Rod Taylor, unusually cast but memorable as an American-speaking dedicated German doctor.
