A spoof 'rockumentary' chronicling the adventures of an English rock band while on tour in America. Director Rob Reiner amusingly takes a subsidiary role as a 'movie-brat'-type filmmaker and you'll also spot Anjelica Huston, who two years later was the deserved winner of a best supporting actress Oscar for her role in Prizzi's Honor. The flat, South London accents of the group members (who are actually American and Canadian actors) are uncannily and hilariously accurate. Bruno Kirby, Ed Begley Jr and Billy Crystal also contribute cameos in the supporting cast.
