David Ogden Stiers

A stage, TV and film star, Stiers is best known for his portrayal of Charles Emerson Winchester III on the long-running comedy series M*A*S*H.
Before that success, Stiers worked primarily on the stage and in TV guest spots.
He began his acting career in Northern California, acting in the Actor's Workshop and California Shakespeare Festival. He moved to New York, where he studied drama at Julliard.
Stiers made his feature acting debut in the Jack Nicholson-directed Drive, He Said, before appearing in several TV series and heading back to the big screen in the Carl Reiner comedy Oh, God!
Through the 80s and into the 90s, Stiers remained busy in TV and films appearing in Woody Allen's Another Woman and Shadows and Fog, as well as Disney's animated hit Beauty and the Beast.
He subsequently provided voices for characters in Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Lilo and Stitch.
Stiers is also a noted conductor of classical music, guest conducting for the Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago symphony orchestras.
