Agnes Moorehead

Moorehead is best known for her effervescent turn as Endora on the sitcom Bewitched and for her dramatic roles in two Orson Welles films: as the protagonist's misguided mother in Citizen Kane and as the lonely, forbidding spinster in The Magnificent Ambersons.
This last role earned her a New York Film Critics citation as Best Actress, as well as her first of four Supporting Actress Oscar nominations.
She has also given memorable performances in a host of films such as The Big Street; Government Girl; Jane Eyre and The Swan.
In 1964 she played Bette Davis' loyal, slatternly housekeeper in Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte, which earned her a fourth Oscar nomination.
Her last film was Charlotte's Web in 1973, and in the same year Moorehead made her final Broadway appearance in Gigi.
