Jerry Reed and Tom Selleck are cowboy buddies-turned amateur detectives in this mystery from the pen of Jimmy Sangster, who earned his spurs on Hammer horror films. While investigating the disappearance of a singer (Morgan Fairchild) and a Country and Western star (Claude Akins), the duo bump into singers Barbara Mandrell, Roy Acuff and Ray Stevens. It's briskly directed by Burt Kennedy of Support Your Local Sheriff! fame.
