Actress and singer, who is best known to the younger generation of cinemagoers as Toulah's mum in the award-winning My Big Fat Greek Wedding, has been appearing on stage and in film since Dayton's Devils in 1968.
Kazan trained for the stage at the Actors Studio with Lee Strasberg and over the years she has appeared in a host of TV series, as well as features, including Beaches, Allie and Me, and most recently the Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez vehicle Gigli.
