An odd war film about US soldiers in France just after D Day, who take in injured civilian Tina Louise after she's shot at by Nazi officers. Soon, two of the soldiers (Earl Holliman, Burt Reynolds) are vying for the attention of the woman, who turns out to be a German spy. Reynolds's loudmouth GI is impressive and Howard Keel gives an authoritative turn as the colonel in charge, but otherwise the acting is weak and the battle action lacklustre.
