American police thrillers are familiar enough, but this film is an above average example with a good ration of action. George Kennedy gives a good performance and makes a credible figure of the central character, a police officer known as Bumper Morgan. What happens when he gets a positive description of two men suspected of having killed a fellow officer, and he begins his search for them in Los Angeles, forms the basis of the story.
