As Director or Producer/Director Richard made Pilots for some of the longest running and most famous television shows on the Major US Networks including Battlestar Gallactica and Ironside.

Since that time he has worked alongside stars such as: James Earl Jones, Raquel Welch, Burt Reynolds, Yul Brynner, Dolly Parton, Paul Newman, Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn.

His top selling films include Dazzle (1995) based on the Judith Krantz novel of the same name and Battlestar Gallactica.
