Award winning Australian TV and film director Simon Wincer is best known for helming Paul Hogan's Crocodile Dundee sequel.
Simon spent the 60's and 70's directing TV series such as Homicide, and The Sullivans, and in 1980 he made his break onto the big screen with Harlequin.
When Indiana Jones came to the small screen, Simon was brought on board as director, and in 1993 he headed up the Free Willy team, and directed a movie about the relationship between a young boy and a trapped dolphin.
Simon has had a steady stream of work since his success with Free Willy. He directed Lighting Jack in 1994, and the following year he helmed Operation Dumbo Drop and The Phantom.
In 2001 he joined forces with fellow Australian Paul Hogan to direct the third Crocodile Dundee adventure, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.
