Amanda Donohoe keeps her clothes on (rather unexpectedly after her striking debut with Oliver Reed in 'Castaway' and full frontal nudity in Ken Russell's 'The Lair of the White Worm' and 'The Rainbow'). This TV movie is typically strong meat, with Amanda mixed up in infidelity and extra-marital affairs, all the while fantasising about murdering husband Peter Firth. There's a nice supporting role as Amanda's mother for Sylvia Syms, a star of the British cinema in the late Fifties.
