Richard Franklin

Born: 15 July 1948
Where: Melbourne, Australia

A producer, director, writer and actor, Franklin directed his first TV series, Homicide, in 1964.

Landing Psycho II proved a success for the director, who went on to helm Cloak & Dagger, F/X2 and Hotel Sorrento.

Franklin continued to direct several TV series including The Lost World and Flatland with Dennis Hopper.
