Paul McGann

A product of the Royal Academy of Music and Drama in London, Paul McGann has been acting on British stage and screen since the early 1980s.
Give Us a Break was his first TV show, in 1983 and three years later he was cast in a major TV drama, The Importance Of Being Earnest.
It was Withnail & I in 1987 that cast Paul into the realms of British superstardom, yet had still to break into the US market.
The following year Steven Spielberg cast him the film that launched Christian Bale's career, Empire of the Sun, and Paul was a made actor.
Some of his biggest roles include Alien 3, the American version of Dr. Who on TV, and a British TV remake of Our Mutual Friend.
In 2002 Paul was cast as a vampire hunter in Queen of the Damned.
