This Robert Altman comedy sat gathering dust on a shelf in MGM's vaults for three years before the company decided to give it a limited release. The reason for this, you may conclude, was because it isn't very good and you'd be right. In fact by Altman's standards - he also directed 'M*A*S*H' and 'The Player' - it's a positive flop. But to be fair, far worse films have been let loose on an unsuspecting public. The characters of the title (played by Daniel H Jenkins and Neill Barry) spend the film trying to extract revenge on a callous insurance man who cancelled the old-age insurance of O. C.' s grandfather. Performances, from a strong cast that includes Jane Curtin, Tina Louise and Dennis Hopper, are uniformly good but everyone seems to be working hard for little reawrd.
