It's action all the way in this unusual road movie, which features some exciting stunts and car chases. Down-on-his-luck racing driver Larry (Peter Fonda) and his mechanic Deke (Adam Roarke) rob a supermarket and get more than they bargain for when they make their escape. For, along with their loot of $150,000 comes Mary (Susan George), a feisty groupie who foils all attempts to get rid of her as she invites herself along for the ride. The result is a combination of romance and wit, culminating in a shocking, abrupt ending.
