There's a complex cocktail of kids, church and cash for B L to sort out in this formula private eye film series set in Florida. There's romance too, as we get the low-down on why Kimberley left him. Also, look out for that rather good young actor Neil Patrick Harris as Buder, a very different character to the one he played in Clara's Heart. Incidentally, this is one of several stories in the series that Burt Reynolds directed himself, though it's not better nor worse than most of the rest.
