Good guys in white hats and bad guys in black hats are what this comedy western is all about. `Rustlers' Rhapsody' is an affectionate parody of those adorably dreadful Saturday morning westerns serials. Unfortunately, the parody is too well done and the film itself outstays its welcome and becomes the victim of its own joke. Tom Berenger, in a rare comic role, is our firm-jawed hero, while Marilu Henner is a feisty heroine. The advantage of the original serials is that although they were embarrassingly bad, they at least only lasted 20 minutes an episode.
