Hardboiled gumshoe Mike Hammer certainly has his work cut out in this stylish romp set among the glamour and glitz of Las Vegas. Viewers could have their work cut out following the murder-strewn plot, energetically directed by John Nicolella from Mark Edwards Edens' outlandish but entertaining script. The glamour is supplied by tall beauty Lynda Carter and, as usual, Lindsay Bloom (as Hammer's Gal Friday, Velda) and Don Stroud (as Captain Pat Chambers) lend stalwart support. There's also a very enjoyable soundtrack by Ron Ramin.
