David Wenham

Born: 21 September 1965
Where: Sydney, Australia

The Australia-based actor has appeared in two of the most successful films of all time - the first and second parts of Lord of the Rings.

Wenham also had roles in Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge, Peter Duncan's A Little Bit of Soul and Alex Proyas' Dark City.

Most recently, he played the pimp-come-dealer in Gillies MacKinnon's bleak drama Pure with Molly Parker.
