Private eye Charlie (Bruce Greenwood) takes on a tough case when he agrees to help a mother and son (Belinda Bauer, Jarrett Lennon) terrorised by a religious cult that believes the lad is the AntiChrist. If the plot often falls short in the sense and logic departments, this made-for-cable-TV horror thriller keeps excitement fairly high through sharp direction. The shocks are visually mild, thanks to a low budget, but the B-picture feel adds to the overall effect and it has some striking moments.
