Sub-standard revenge drama about a Mafia hitman newly released from jail and seeking retribution on a group of Vietnam veterans. It's a pretty lame affair boosted only by the chance to spot a host of seasoned B-movie stars and by appearances from by Robert Mitchum's son, Jim, as one of the soldiers of fortune, and Frank Sinatra Jr (who also wrote the film's music) as a Mafia lawyer. The story, however, just seems to exist as an excuse for the spurts of violence which enliven but don't distinguish the film.
