An egocentric and self centred businessman dies but gets a chance to make amends. He's sent back to Earth, reincarnated as Arnold Pishkin, and becomes his family's housekeeper. This light but fun comedy follows plot developments that have been familiar since Here Comes Mr Jordan. It wears a bit thin in the end, though, as it tries to make too many little moral points with Pishkin learning to be a better person. Directed by Alan Myerson, who once made the classic black comedy Steelyard Blues but did little of note in the intervening decades.
