Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis's enlistment in the Navy proves even less funny than their army manoeuvres. The plot is a predictable series of skits, with a running gag of Jerry taking up a bet to kiss real-life actress Corinne Calvet. STAR SPOTS: Betty Hutton, then big at Paramount, pops in for a cameo, and James Dean, not yet big anywhere, has a tiny role as a sailor.
