This is a curiously enthralling psychological thriller set in the Seventies about a Vietnam veteran (Tim Robbins) who is suffering a series of horrific visions.

Struggling to hold on to his sanity, he finds that several of his old war buddies are experiencing similar illusions.

And so he begins to ask questions of his former employers - the army - as to what really happened to his unit one chilling night behind enemy lines.

Robbins is first-rate as the tortured Jacob, in this strange horror tale that has some spooky surreal moments. A real curio.
