This rollicking, boisterous pirate yarn is something a little different - a British television film. Filmed entirely on location, this Thames television production is the tale of pirate captain Jack Prince, marooned on a small island, but rescued by the plucky teenaged daughter of a wanted rebel. When the rebel is captured by the French, it's up to Jack to rescue him. James Hazeldine makes a personable hero and Rudolph Walker enjoys his role as the leader of a group of rebel slaves fighting for their independence on the island. Pure, uncomplicated adventure.
