A French country boy leaves his village and, after a spell as a medical orderly, becomes a male prostitute. The only problem is that he isn't actually gay and falls heavily for a female hooker, an association that leads to considerable physical and mental damage. This is an okay French film, well acted but with nothing particular to say. Still, as the old movie title says Paris Does Strange Things and at least the ambience of the city at night is well captured. Nice music too.
