This is a one-joke film and the joke isn't that funny. Hywel Bennett is the recipient of the world's first penis transplant after a freak accident. He spends most of the film trying to discover the identity of Percy's (his pet name for his new organ) owner. It's not simply that this is all in rather bad taste, it's not very good either. Positively limp, in fact. You won't be shocked by the humour or the naff music hall phallic references, but you will be embarrassed for so many talented people who obviously spent so much time producing so little. Unbelievably, they made a sequel, Percy's Progress. Believably, it was worse.
