A tolerably enjoyable adventure romp which casts Hayley Mills as the tomboy daughter of a roguish old sea-dog, played by father John Mills. Such British film stalwarts as Lionel Jeffries, Harry Andrews and Niall MacGinnis have a high old time rolling their eyes and pretending to be piratical. This, the third co-starring film for father and daughter, following 'Tiger Bay' and 'The Chalk Garden', was shot on location on the Costa Brava, providing the stars with a working holiday in the sun.
