There's so much plot in this one that today's film-makers would put another hour on the running time. Unfortunately, today's film-makers would almost certainly do it better as well. George Fitzmaurice directs this tale in which Jean Harlow struggles to be convincing as the girl who sees her husband (Franchot Tone) gunned down by World War One spies, and flees into a new life with dashing French aviator Cary Grant.
