There's lots of British influence in this fairly bubbly comedy along traditional lines, as an aspiring comic finds himself on the run from mobsters through a chance acquaintance. Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, once of 'The Likely Lads', wrote it, and the director is Terry Hughes, of 'Ripping Yarns' and Monty Python fame. The personalities of the stars John Ritter, Susan Dey and Martin Short among them help keep this familiar brew fizzing.
