Creeps and chills are on the menu when young Frankie (Lukas Haas) sees the ghost of a young girl and a masked man after being locked into his class cloakroom by his schoolmates as a Hallowe'en joke. Are they connected to each other in some way? Frankie is determined to find out. Haas, the little Amish boy in Witness, is quite cute as the central character in this eerie supernatural thriller. The special effects are good and there's a nail-biting, if somewhat clichéd climax. All the elements here are familiar but writer/director Frank LaLoggia has mixed them well. Look out for Katherine (Soap) Helmond as a rather scary Miss Haversham-like eccentric.
