This story of a womanising insurance adjuster who gets sexually involved with his clients is a curiosity from Canadian director Atom Egoyan. Curious, it may be, fascinating it isn't, which is surprising, given the fact that the story is littered with eccentric characters. But the characters are shallow and unsympathetic and you find yourself not caring what happens to them. Noah, the adjuster of the title, is played by Elias Koteas trying to be Robert De Niro. The film drift aimlessly and you will find your attention drifting, too.
