A typical tough role for former Dallas star Victoria Principal, as a mother who has to fight back against a suspected child abductor and murderer after he kidnaps her daughter. It's just the sort of overwrought part at which she excels and she won't disappoint her army of fans. She has help in the over-large form of cop Paul Sorvino, who was memorably seen on the other side of the law making the perfect Italian meatballs in jail in Martin Scorsese's GoodFellas - and tough competition from young Danielle Harris as the daughter.
