Sam Weisman
New Yorker Sam is probably best known for his career as a TV director. Mimi and Me, Family Ties, Moonlighting and LA Law are just some of the high profile multi-million-dollar programmes that he's been involved with and he's only recently turned to movies.
Sam's son Daniel is also in the movie business. Daniel was in Bye Bye Love with his sister Marguerite and in What's The Worst That Could Happen, both directed by his father.
In 1997 Sam started teaching at Brandeis University in Massachusetts and directed Tom Stoppard's play, Arcadia.
At the same time he also directed features such as George Of The Jungle, and The Out-of-Towners with Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn.
his latest directing work came in the form of Dickie ROberts: Former Child Star in which he dorected the likes of David SPade, Mary McCormack and even Rob Reiner.
