Fifties pop singer Bobby Darin (remember Mack the Knife? ) stars as a sheriff who tries to avoid violence after accidentally killing a friend, in this formula Western. There are no new twists in this familiar tale and Darin doesn't entirely convince as a cowboy hero but Leslie Nielsen does well in a showy role as the local cattle baron baddie.
