Anne Heche

Three and a half years in a relationship with TV personality and celebrity lesbian Ellen DeGeneres ensured Anne's position at the top of the tabloid hit list.

She is now married to a man, Coley Laffoon, with whom she has a baby, Homer, and has in fact started to prove herself as an actress as well as a gossip columnist's dream.

The Adventures of Huck Finn in 1993 got Anne started in film, and a few minor TV roles later, the diminutive blonde was cast in The Juror and Donnie Brasco.

A host of films have followed, including Wag The Dog; Psycho and John Q, alongside Denzel Washington.

Anne is currently starring in Proof, on Broadway, in the role that Nicole Kidman took on in London's West End.

Her latest film role in in Birth, in which she will star alongside Nicole Kidman and Lauren Bacall.
