Dominic Sena

Starting out as a cameraman, Dominic moved into directing in 1985 and began his career with music videos and adverts.
His clients included big names such as Nike, IBM and Apple Computers, and he became known for creating visually striking and memorable ads that captured the audience's attention and earned critical acclaim.
In the mid to late 80s, Dominic began to emerge as a top director of music videos, working with big artists like Sting, Richard Marx and Bryan Adams. But he is best remembered for directing a number of videos starring Janet Jackson.
Their collaboration serves as a timeline of Jackson's work, showcasing her personal as well as creative development with Let's Wait A While, Miss You Much, Rhythm Nation, and If.
In 1993 Dominic made his entry into feature film directing with Kalifornia, starring Brad Pitt, and Juliette Lewis.
After this, Dominic disappeared from the big screen and returned to the world of TV ads, winning top advertising awards.
2000 saw the director return to features with the remake of the 1974 cult classic, Gone in 60 Seconds, after which he directed Swordfish with John Travolta, and Halle Berry.
